Terms of Use & Safety Information

Last updated: 02/14/2026

Thank you for purchasing a FoFa Haus lighting product. By using this lamp, you agree to the following Terms of Use and Safety Guidelines. Please read them carefully to ensure proper operation and long-term performance.

Power Requirements

This lamp is designed to operate using a standard E12 base bulb (also known as a candelabra bulb).

  • Use 120V AC power only (standard household outlets in the United States).

  • Do not use bulbs that exceed the recommended wattage or voltage listed on the product label.

Using an incompatible bulb or power source may result in damage to the lamp or pose a safety risk.

Safe Operation & Handling

To install, remove, or adjust the bulb or socket area:

  1. Unplug the lamp from the wall outlet first.

  2. Allow the bulb to cool before handling.

  3. Gently remove or replace the E12 bulb without twisting or forcing other components.

Never attempt to remove the shade, socket, wiring, or internal components while the lamp is still connected to power.

Do Not Modify or Tamper With the Lamp

FoFa Haus lamps are designed and tested as-built.

  • Any modification, tampering, rewiring, or alteration (including changing the socket, cord, switch, materials, or structural components) is strictly discouraged and voids any warranty or responsibility by FoFa Haus.

  • Unauthorized changes can create electrical hazards, fire risks, or product instability.

If the lamp needs service, please contact us directly.

Proper Use Only

This lamp is intended for indoor residential use only.
Do not expose the lamp to excessive heat, moisture, water, or outdoor conditions.
Keep cords away from children and pets.

Liability Statement

FoFa Haus is not responsible for damage, injury, or malfunction resulting from:

  • misuse of the lamp.

  • ignoring safety instructions.

  • use of incompatible bulbs or power sources.

  • operating the lamp while damaged.

  • or modifying the lamp in any way.

By using this lamp, you acknowledge and agree to follow all provided safety guidelines.

Recommended Usage & Cooling Periods

To ensure long bulb life, stable performance, and safe operation, FoFa Haus recommends the following usage cycle:

  • Do not operate the lamp continuously for more than 8 hours at a time.

  • After each operating period, turn the lamp off and allow it to cool for at least 30 minutes before turning it back on.

This cooling interval helps prevent heat buildup, prolongs the lifespan of the E12 bulb, and serves as an added safety precaution during regular use. Extended continuous operation or failure to allow the lamp to cool may reduce bulb life or increase the risk of heat-related issues.

Age Requirement for Handling Electrical Components

FoFa Haus lighting products contain electrical components that must be handled with care.
For safety reasons:

  • Only adults age 18 and older should install, remove, adjust, or handle any electrical components, including the bulb, socket, wiring, cord, or switch.

  • Children should not plug in, unplug, or operate the lamp without adult supervision.

  • Under no circumstances should a minor attempt to repair, modify, or disassemble any part of the lamp.

This requirement is in place to reduce the risk of electrical shock, improper handling, or unsafe modifications.

Plug Base and Rechargeable Base

  • Always turn the light off before changing bases.

  • If using the corded base, unplug it from the wall before removing or installing a different base.

  • Allow the bulb to cool before handling the unit.

  • Do not attempt to modify, open, or tamper with internal electronics.

  • Ensure the base is fully secured before turning the light back on.

  • This product is not a toy. Children should be supervised when interacting with interchangeable components.

  • The wireless base must be charged using a USB-C cable only.

  • Fofa Haus is not responsible for damage caused by misuse, modification, or improper installation.

Lens Changing Safety

  • Always turn the light off before changing lenses.

  • Allow the bulb to cool before removing the lens.

  • When removing or installing a lens, tilt the top portion of the base away from your face to avoid direct light exposure.

  • Avoid looking directly into the light source when powered on.

  • Handle lenses with care to prevent cracking or scratching.

  • Ensure the lens is properly seated before turning the light back on.

General Electrical & Usage Safety

  • Use only recommended LED bulbs within the specified wattage range.

  • Do not use with incandescent or high heat bulbs.

  • Keep away from water, excessive moisture, or outdoor exposure unless explicitly stated.

  • Do not cover the light while in use.

  • Place on a stable, flat surface.

  • Discontinue use if you notice frayed wires, unusual heat, flickering, or electrical smell.
